• YUE GAO

    Professor Gao Yue is a Distinguished Professor at Fudan University, the Dean of the Institute of Space Internet, and the Director of the Intelligent Networks and Computing Research Center. He is an IEEE Fellow, IET Fellow, and a Fellow of the China Communications Society.

    Professor Gao is also a Changjiang Chair Professor and a recipient of both national and Shanghai Leading Talent programs. He obtained his Bachelor's degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2002, and his Master's and PhD degrees from Queen Mary University of London in 2003 and 2007, respectively. He has previously served as a professor and chair professor at Queen Mary University of London and the University of Surrey.

    Professor Gao’s main research focuses on sky-ground integrated networks and satellite internet. He has led more than 10 projects, including National Natural Science Foundation projects, key Ministry of Science and Technology intergovernmental projects, and international collaborations. He has published more than 100 high-level journal papers and over 100 conference papers, including in prestigious IEEE journals such as JSAC, TWC, TVT, TSP, and TAP. His research work has been cited more than 9,800 times on Google Scholar, with an H-index of 48. His research achievements have received multiple awards, including the Horizon Award in the field of Information and Communication Technologies from the European Union, Best Paper Awards from journals like JCIN and China Communications, and recognition as an IEEE VTS Distinguished Lecturer and Speaker.

    Professor Gao was elected as a Fellow of the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) in 2017, and currently serves as the Chair of the IEEE ComSoc Wireless Communications Committee (2023–2024) and as a Board Member of the IEEE Vehicle Technology Society (2021–2026).




  • BO YAN

    Professor Yan Bin is a Professor and PhD Supervisor at Fudan University, an Education Minister’s Changjiang Scholar, and a recipient of the National Excellent Young Scientist Fund.

    Professor Yan is a recipient of the National Excellent Young Scientist Fund. He obtained his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Information and Communication Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 1998 and 2001, respectively. In 2004, he received his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. From 2004 to 2006, he conducted postdoctoral research at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the United States.

    Professor Yan has led multiple research projects, including the National Excellent Young Scientist Fund, National Natural Science Foundation General Projects, Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program, Ministry of Education Fund, Huawei Fund, and Fudan University's Outstanding Talent Program, among others. He has served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology and as a Guest Editor for IEEE Journal on Emerging and Selected Topics in Circuits and Systems.

    He is currently a Senior Member of IEEE, a member of the Multimedia and Computer Vision Technical Committees of the China Computer Federation (CCF), and a director of both the China Society of Image and Graphics and the Shanghai Society of Image and Graphics.


  • JUN WU

    Professor Wu Jun is a Professor and PhD Supervisor at Fudan University and a recipient of a national-level talent program.

    Research Interests: Wireless Networks, Reinforcement Learning & Deep Learning, Source-Channel Coding, Embedded Systems

    Professor Wu has published over 150 papers in international journals and conferences, with more than 80 papers indexed by SCI. He has received the ESI Highly Cited Paper recognition and international conference Best Paper Awards. He has also applied for and been granted over 60 domestic and international patents.

    In recent years, Professor Wu has led major research projects, including one Key Project from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one Major Project, and two General Projects, along with two National Key Technology Research and Development Program projects and one National Science and Technology Support Program project. He has won the First Prize for Technological Invention from the Ministry of Education and the First Prize for Technological Invention from Shanghai (both as the lead contributor).

    He serves as an editorial board member for the international journals IEEE Transactions on Multimedia and IEEE Internet of Things Journal. Additionally, he was the Program Chair for the 2019 IEEE International Conference on Multimedia and Expo (ICME).



  • XIN WANG

    Professor Wang Xin is a Professor and PhD Supervisor at Fudan University. He is a National Young Distinguished Expert, a Shanghai Distinguished Expert, an Outstanding Academic Leader in Shanghai, and a Shanghai Shuguang Scholar.

    Professor Wang holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electronic Engineering from Fudan University, a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Auburn University in the United States, and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Minnesota. He was awarded the 2019 Shanghai Natural Science Second Prize as the lead contributor.

    Professor Wang currently serves as an IEEE VTS Distinguished Lecturer, Senior Area Editor for IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing (TSP), and as an editorial board member for IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications (TWC). At Fudan University, he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses such as Signals and Communication Systems, Signal Detection and Estimation Fundamentals, and Optimization of Communication Systems.






  • YUGUO YU

    Professor Yu Yuguo is a Professor and PhD Supervisor at Fudan University. He is a Shanghai High-Level Talent Eastern Scholar (2013) and a recipient of the Tracking Program (2017).

    Research Interests: Brain-Inspired Intelligence and Computational Neuroscience

    Professor Yu earned his PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from Nanjing University in 2001, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in Computational Neuroscience at Carnegie Mellon University in the United States in 2004. He was a research scientist at Yale University School of Medicine in 2010. He has also been recognized as a Shanghai High-Level Talent Eastern Scholar in 2013 and a Tracking Program expert in 2017.

    Professor Yu serves as a director of the Shanghai Biophysical Society, a member of the Chinese Society for Computational Neuroscience, and a member of the Automation Control and Biological Engineering Association. He is also the Deputy Editor of Frontiers in Computational Neuroscience and an editorial board member of Cognitive Neurodynamics.

    His research focuses on the dynamical properties and biophysical mechanisms of brain neural signals, neural information processing, neural computation, computational models of neurons and neural networks, and bio-inspired intelligence. In recent years, he has developed a 3D mathematical model for the energy connectivity map of the mammalian and human brain, revealing the universal signal transmission and energy consumption patterns dependent on basic metabolism in the brain cortex. His research spans multiple scales, from ion channels to neurons, neural networks, and neural circuits, investigating how higher animals achieve low-power neural network connections and efficient energy-saving information processing and neural computation mechanisms.

    Professor Yu has published over 60 SCI papers in prestigious journals such as Nature, PNAS, Neuron, Physical Review Letters, J Neurosci, PLoS Comp Biol, and J Cereb Blood Flow & Metabolism. He has led or participated in more than 10 national research projects.



  • HONGTAO XU

    Research Interests: Antennas, Intelligent Systems, and Algorithm Research

    Professor Xu received his PhD from Fudan University, with a Master’s in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering. From 2005 to 2015, he worked at Intel’s U.S. Intel Research Center. In 2015, he joined the School of Microelectronics at Fudan University, focusing on RF intelligence technologies, high-performance wireless SoC research, and industrialization.

    He is a senior member of IEEE and has published over 50 papers, including 6 in ISSCC and 5 in JSSC. He holds 13 U.S. patents. Dr. Hong serves in various important roles for international academic conferences, including as a Technical Committee member for IEEE ISSCC (International Solid-State Circuits Conference), a Steering and Technical Committee member for IEEE RFIC (Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits Conference), a Guest Editor for IEEE JSSC, and Associate Editor for IEEE MWCL.

    Professor Zhao Jin graduated from Nanjing University in 2006 with a PhD. He is currently a professor at Fudan University. As a project leader, he has undertaken national-level projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Key R&D Program, as well as several projects with well-known enterprises. He has published over 50 academic papers in renowned international journals and conferences in the networking field, including IEEE JSAC, INFOCOM, ICNP, etc. He serves as an editorial board member for the well-known journal IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management and has contributed to several international conferences, including serving as a program committee member for IEEE INFOCOM, co-chair for NoF 2022 Demo, and co-chair for CNSM 2022 Student Travel Grants.

    Dr. Zhe Chen previously served as a Senior Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, a Research Scientist at the Guangzhou Zhongxin International Joint Research Institute, and an Intern Researcher at Microsoft Research Asia. He received the ACM SIGCOMM China 2019 Excellent Doctoral Award for his contributions to multi-antenna networks and indoor positioning during his PhD. He also won the ACM SIGMOBILE China 2021 Rising Star Award for his early career contributions to new wireless sensing systems and their commercialization. Dr. Chen has published over 50 papers in international academic conferences and journals, including more than 30 A-class papers recommended by the China Computer Federation, Tsinghua University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.     Dr. Jingjing Zhang received her PhD from the Paris School of Telecommunications in 2017, where she was awarded the Outstanding Doctoral Thesis honor. She then completed a postdoctoral research position at King's College London. Dr. Zhang is now a Youth Associate Researcher at Fudan University. Her research focuses on distributed data processing mechanisms, particularly those driven by big data, with a broad range of interests spanning information theory, wireless communications, distributed artificial intelligence, and more. She has also been actively involved in organizing academic events such as the 5th London Information Theory Forum and SPAWC 2023.


  • WEIMIN TAN

    Dr. Tan's research areas include AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) and Smart Healthcare. He has published 56 academic papers in total, with 40 of them in SCI international journals and CCF A-level conferences in the past five years, including 22 as the first or corresponding author. These publications include 13 papers in top IEEE Transactions journals such as IEEE Transactions, Nature Methods, Engineering (a leading global engineering journal), and 24 papers in CCF A-level conferences. He has received the 2020 Ministry of Education Natural Science Award (second place), the 2019 China Image and Graphics Society Science and Technology Award (second place), and the 2018 China Image and Graphics Society Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Nomination Award.

    He was selected for the National Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Support Program, the Shanghai Super Postdoctoral Incentive Program, and the Fudan University (Excellent Talent Program). He has led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation. Over the past five years, he has filed 35 patent applications, of which 13 have been granted, and one patent has been successfully commercialized, generating a patent conversion fee of 4.95 million RMB.

    Dr. You conducted postdoctoral research at Singapore University of Technology and Design from 2020 to 2023, under the supervision of IEEE Fellow Tony Q. S. Quek, a Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Sciences. She completed both her undergraduate and PhD studies at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, with her PhD advisor being Chinese Academy of Engineering Academician Li Lemin. She has long been engaged in research in the field of communication networks, and her current research focuses on access networks in NTN (Non-Terrestrial Networks). She has published (or has accepted) over 20 papers in top-tier journals and international conferences in the field, including 11 first-author papers and 2 corresponding-author papers. Seven of these publications have appeared in CCF-A or JCR-1 zone journals or international conferences. She has also published a Wiley monograph.

    She participated as the lead for Singapore in the 6G international collaboration project Sustainable-Energy-Driven Low-Carbon Green 6G Networks and Technologies and contributed as a key technical member in two projects funded by the Singapore National Foundation or the Singapore Ministry of Education. She presented a tutorial session at the IEEE/CIC ICCC 2023 International Conference. Other academic services include co-chairing the IEEE SECON 2023 workshop, serving as TPC for IEEE ICCT 2023, and acting as a reviewer for journals such as IEEE JSAC, TWC, TCOMM, TMC, INFOCOM, and IoTJ.


  • KUN QIU

    Dr. Qiu graduated from Fudan University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (2009–2013) and a Ph.D. in Computer Applications Technology (2013–2019), specializing in routing algorithm design. In 2019, he joined Intel's Asia-Pacific R&D division as a Software Engineer and became a member of the Network Edge team, focusing on optimizing data center network performance and building efficient network frameworks. He has published over ten research papers in prominent academic journals and international conferences, covering topics such as computer communication, algorithms, AI-based traffic analysis, and routing algorithm design in his Ph.D. research. His work has been cited over a hundred times and is widely referenced in well-known journals like IEEE JSAC and at major conferences such as IEEE INFOCOM. He has collaborated with internationally renowned scholars and participated in several research projects and patent applications. He serves as a technical reviewer for several IEEE/ACM journals and international conferences and was a member of the IEEE NoF Technical Program Committee in 2023. He holds multiple patents related to character-based matching encoding and decoding technologies, AI-based malicious traffic detection using flexible deterministic finite automaton (DFA) tokenizers, and techniques for handling large-scale multi-text matching algorithms.
